Inflammatory Pseudotumor of the Liver that Mimicked Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Abstract
Inflammatory pseudotumor is a tumor-like lesion characterized by chronic inflammatory cell infiltration with fibrosis. Inflammatory pseudotumor of liver has nonspecific symptoms including right abdominal discomfort, fever, and weight loss. Therefore it is very difficult to differential diagnosis from other malignant liver tumor. Herein, we report the case of a 75-yearold male with a solitary hepatic mass, who was initially considered with hepatocellular carcinoma by computed tomography (CT). The patient was diagnosed with hepatic inflammatory pseudotumor by pathologic confirm.
